In frustration, he asks if she's a robot. Her answer sparks the novel into warp-speed. Once the significance of number 233704272177 is explained and Nikita's flatness is understood as a necessity for survival, Bean ratchets up her presentation and races the listener along the captivating plot line though time shifts that are full of action, laser weaponry, romance, danger, and intrigue.
